Eindhoven Quantum Computing Workshop
Welcome!
In this workshop we will address the emerging field of Quantum Computing. It is especially relevant that this workshop is embedded in the Autumn HPC School 2026, where several aspects of the so-called “classical computing” are being addressed.
The following three questions form the broad theme of the workshop. The multidisciplinary line-up of expert speakers will touch upon these topics from different angles. Participants can expect to gain a broad overview and insight into Quantum Computing and leave some hands-on experience of current Quantum algorithms.

There is significant misinformation and misconceptions around. We will address some of them.
3 - Supercomputing vs. Quantum?
Is Quantum computing a replacement for Supercomputing/HPC? Or a complement?
